The last several years have led me on a personal journey to inquire what wholeness within feels and looks like in the context of my own life. How is wholeness embodied in a world that breeds division? This led me to confront many trials and lessons in the face of wounded parts of me that sought to be understood and radically loved by me. Thus began my heroine’s journey (coined by visionary Jean Houston) to reclaim parts of myself I had no inkling even existed. To this day, I find myself traversing through unchartered territory within my own psyche, befriending intriguing creatures and conversing with old monsters who were simply seeking company.
This journey awakened me to deep feminine healing work that opened up a yearning to connect back to my ancestral roots, community, earth medicines, and most importantly, the journey back into my heart's wisdom. The heart is the mystical gateway to union, where the illusion of separation becomes illuminated on an individual, collective, and divine level. In traditional lineages, there is always a teacher who guides the student on their journey back to wholeness. Everyone will resonate with different teachers in their lifetime, or even multiple teachers if they are so blessed. For me, it has ultimately been nature Herself.
As women, we play a sacred role at this time of RE-membering all facets of our divine nature. In order to restore balance to aspects of the feminine psyche that have been collectively repressed for thousands of years, it requires us to each courageously journey into the underworld and retrieve the gifts that are uniquely ours. The Latin root of the word courage is "cor", meaning heart. Dear one, this is deep heart warrior work. Surrendering to this will unveil layers beyond the logical mind that many of us have been taught supersedes all other modes of knowing.
If you feel a calling or whisper to learn more about this, a prolific book I recommend to every sister is "Women Who Run with the Wolves", by Jungian psychonalyst Clarissa Pinkola Estés. Her work takes the reader on a captivating mythopoetic and psychological journey into the depths of the Wild Woman archetype to reclaim lost parts of the feminine psyche. I will never forget the morning I stumbled upon this book several years ago on an island in Seattle. Reading the initial pages felt like a transmission for my soul, and it awakened an undeniable inner knowing that there was so much more for me to explore than my somewhat "ordinary" life at the time. The book was both the solace my heart needed at the time and simultaneously the key that unlocked so many inquiries since then.
Our body’s wisdom is inherently rooted in the natural world. When we connect with the medicine of the earth, we can tune back into unbound creation energy where our authentic and primal nature resides. Creation energy is the seedling from which all is birthed, and through this sacral portal we manifest our dreams, visions, sexual power, and human life. This life-force energy is not exclusive to just birthing physical life, and when we can accept, love, and play with these potent parts of ourselves, our vitality and orientation in life is restored. Women carry many unique gifts that can be accessed, such as intuition and womb wisdom. Men play an imperative role of supporting, protecting, and honoring the full expression of the feminine, as well. We will discuss these themes at a later time if this sparks an interest within you.
The more I studied and worked with nature’s rhythms, subtleties, and healing wisdom, the more I oriented back to my true nature. Self-reclamation is a necessary retrieval on the path of being in service to a vision much greater than one’s self. It is how we can set the compass straight for the Great Story that weaves together the purpose you and I each play for a more consciously evolved era of humanity that is already arriving in our lifetime. It is a story of returning to wholeness, or another word I could use for it - love.
Her Nature is the manifestation of a prayer of mine for you to reconnect with your uniquely divine nature. As women, it is our birthright to access and connect with the earth the way our ancestors once did. To beat to the rhythm of your own precious calling. To give permission to all parts of yourself to be liberated and celebrated. You are always supported by nature's medicine, your ancestors, and your heart's wisdom.
With gratitude & love,
Arzina
